We are pleased to announce the grand opening of “EN RESORT Grandeco Hotel” in Kitashiobara-mura, Yama-gun, Fukushima Prefecture, on Saturday, July 1, 2023. In conjunction with the grand opening of the hotel, “EN RESORT Grandeco Mountain Resort,” which proposes activities to fully enjoy the nature of Urabandai with all five senses, will open at the same time. The Grandeco Urabandai Ropeway, located within the resort, will begin summer operations on Saturday, July 15.

With 103 rooms, a hot spring, and a year-round swimming pool, this resort hotel is equipped to provide a full range of physical and mental health services at any time of the year. The hotel redefines the environment of Urabandai with a focus on Onogawa Spring, and with water as its theme, offers a stay that allows guests to experience the grandeur and beauty of Urabandai’s nature through all five senses.
Onogawa Spring” is a natural spring water that flows through the area, selected as one of the 100 best waters in Japan, and has created Urabandaï’s rich nature as rich water that nurtures nature during the green season and fluffy and smooth powder snow during the snow season.

The water used in the resort, from the tap water in the guest rooms to the water used for cooking meals and even the water used in the swimming pool, are all purified in-house from Onogawa spring water. Furthermore, under the “Act & Rest” concept of the entire resort, activities related to Ono River spring water, such as the “Hyakkan Shimizu Trekking” to see the moment Ono River spring water is created, canoeing and SUP at “Ono River Lake” formed by Ono River spring water, are available.
