Request Regarding the Use of Mobile Batteries.
Thank you very much for always using Hotel East China Sea. In recent years, there have been reports both domestically and internationally of smoke and fire incidents caused by mobile batteries (rechargeable batteries). To provide all of our guests with a safe and secure stay, we kindly ask that you pay attention to the following points when using mobile batteries in guest rooms.

・Please check for certification marks in the country of purchase (in Japan, the PSE mark) and use products whose safety is assured (such as genuine products).
・Do not use products that show abnormalities such as scratches or swelling.
・Refrain from charging mobile batteries when you are away from your room, such as when going out.
・Avoid charging in direct sunlight near windows or on combustible items such as beds and sheets.
・When charging, use the product in a location where you can constantly monitor its condition yourself.
・During room cleaning, for safety reasons, staff may move your mobile battery or stop charging if necessary.

In the unlikely event that you notice abnormal heat, strange odors, smoke, or the like, please stop using it immediately and contact the front desk. We sincerely ask for your understanding and cooperation.
