- When it is necessary to protect the life, body, or property of an individual and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult
- When it is particularly necessary for the improvement of public health or the sound development of children, and obtaining the person’s consent is difficult
- When cooperation is necessary for a national or local government agency, or an entity entrusted by them, to carry out duties prescribed by law
Article 6: Joint Use of Personal Information
The Company may jointly use personal information with The Court Co., Ltd. and its affiliated companies as follows:
- Items of information to be jointly used: name, contact information, reservation and usage history, inquiry details, etc.
- Purpose of use: same as those specified in Article 2
- Scope of joint users: corporations with which the Company has capital or business partnerships (hereinafter referred to as “affiliated companies”). The scope will be disclosed on the Company’s website as necessary.
- Responsible party for management: The Court Co., Ltd. (2-5-1 Akasaka, Minato-ku, Tokyo)
Article 7: Security Measures for Personal Information
The Company takes the following technical and organizational measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information:
- Internal access control and authentication management

Upon request from the customer, the Company will disclose, correct, suspend the use of, or delete retained personal data. When making a request, customers may be asked to submit identification documents (e.g., driver’s license, health insurance card, passport, etc.). Appendix A: Special Provisions for Residents of the EEA
Handling of Personal Information of Customers Located in the European Economic Area (EEA)
This appendix sets forth additional information that we are required to provide under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to customers who reside or temporarily stay in the European Economic Area (EEA), as well as the rights of such customers regarding the handling of their personal information in accordance with EEA regulations. In the event of any inconsistency between this appendix and the main body of this Privacy Policy, this appendix shall take precedence.

The personal information we collect and retain may include the following:

- Additional information such as occupation, employer, and family details

Customers have the right to file a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority in their country of residence.
Article 10: Mandatory Information for Accommodation
If customers do not provide the information required for accommodation (e.g., accommodation register items), we may be unable to provide the service.
Article 11: Personal Information of Children
Customers under the age of 16 must obtain the consent of a parent or guardian before providing personal information.
Article 12: No Automated Decision-Making
We do not engage in automated decision-making, including profiling, based on personal information.
Article 13: No Fees Required
In principle, no fees will be charged for requests made under this appendix.
