Location
浅草は、江戸の情緒と現代の活気が息づく東京を代表する街です。 その中心にある浅草寺は、奈良時代に創建され、約1,400年の歴史を誇る東京最古の寺院です。
東を守る朱塗りの「二天門」は、1649年に建立され、左右に二天像を祀ることからその名がつきました。国の重要文化財に指定され、今も浅草の街を静かに見守り続けています。 昼は参拝客で賑わい、夜には伽藍がライトアップされ、東京スカイツリーが夜空を彩ります。歴史と現代が重なり合う浅草ならではの景色を楽しむことができます。

Our Inspiration
浅草は多様な人々が入り混じり、日本の伝統を基盤にしながらも互いの文化を理解し合いながら発展している街です。
そのような浅草を俯瞰して見た時に垣間見れる様々な物や事の「Meets」を表現しています。
和と洋が融合したカーペット、現代と伝統が混じり合うロビーなどで「Meets」を感じることができます。
EN The HOUSE Asakusa Nitenmonでは、浅草の伝統的なモチーフを現代的に解釈し、伝統とモダンを融合しながらデザインしています。
1階エントランスは、仲見世商店街の提灯の”連続”から着想を得ています。
2階ロビーと一部客室では、建築の躯体である鉄骨フレームをあえて残し、その構造自体をデザインとしています。
